When will we stand up

Why does it surprise us that this world is so full of hate and evil? With in our own country we wonder why Children are beaten, sexually abused, murdered, and even tortured. Yet everyday we as a society step away from the very foundation this country was built on! Why will we as a people not learn from mistakes of the past? We read about Sodom and Gomorrah and other cities that have turned away from God and yet we think we ourselves can fix the problems by electing an official in office. The only cure for our land;OUR FAMILIES is to turn back to the Lord and repent!

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Its great to have voices who speak out in this sinful world, do not let them speak alone! Its time to stand upon Godly principles, the very principles we first founded this country on.

Too many people call themselves Christians yet when asked about their experience of being born again, will look at you like your insane. What separates us from the world other than Grace? The bible tells us
(1 Pet. 1:15-16).
The believer in the Lord Jesus Christ is set apart for God by the Holy Spirit. The “saint” is a person set apart for God, enjoying a holy standing before God in Christ Jesus, with the obligation of living a holy life

Now im not saying we will live a sinless life as this is impossible (1 John 1:8-10)
God expects the true believer to not sin habitually. “No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in Him, and he cannot practice sin because he is born of God”

1 Peter 1:16You shall be Holy for I am holy.

Leviticuc 11:44 I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.

Romans 12:1 says – to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God which is our spiritual worship.

These are just a few scriptures on how the Lord wishes His people to live, we will never live perfect lives yet our hearts should be tured to wanting to live a acceptable life to the Lord
