Wherefore, brethren, seek not to counsel the Lord, but to take counsel from his hand. For behold, ye yourselves know that he counseleth in wisdom, and in justice, and in great mercy, over all his works. (Jacob 4:10)
I don't know how many times i have tried to convince the Lord what would be in my best interest.
Like most of us I tend to forget my place in the grand scheme of things, God is God, I'm merely a
servant, as one of His children He looks out for me, but knows what is best for this life and walk He
has me on. Thank you Lord for the reminder. Your wisdom superceeds anything I think I know and
the direction I walk comes only through your guidance. Keep me focused on your goals, you know
my hearts desires and if they flow with your plan I trust you to fulfill them but never at the cost
of my walk with you.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
